Dr. Irma Morales earned her DVM Degree in 1996 from the University of Florida.

Dr. Irma MoralesShe is also the owner of Lake Worth Animal Hospital in Lake Worth, Florida.   

Her interests include: adventure traveling, collecting antiques, and participating (as a vet) in sled-dog races.  Dr. Morales started in the "sled-dog races" arena in 2001 with the Iditarod Sled Dog Veterinary Seminar and pre-race exams.  In the Year 2006, Dr. Morales returned to the U.P. 200 and Midnight Run Sled Dog Races in Michigan for the FOURTH TIME (2002, 2003, 2004 and 2006).  Dr. Morales and her husband Angel have a wonderful dog named Lulu.

 


 

Dr. Karen Baker earned her DVM Degree in 1997 from the University of Florida.

Dr. Karen BakerDr. Karen Baker is a 1997 graduate of the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Baker also enjoys participating (as a vet) in sled-dog races.  She is a 5-year veteran of the UP200 and Midnight Run races.  Her Family includes: John, her husband; Johnny and Kristen, both of whom are college students; 5 dogs, and 2 cats (Wuerffel, Molly, Ike, Bentley, Sheva, Midge and Greta). In addition to sled dog medicine, Dr. Baker enjoys surfing, racquetball, and watching all forms of University of Florida, "Gator" sports. Go Gators!
